Hi there and thanks for the insight. One point of clarification and an apology on my part since I kind of hijacked an old thread in my search for solutions to my 3-way dilemma. In my set up, I am using a Blue Series 2/1 vs the RED LZW31 switch that was discussed from the original poster. So a Zigbee switch with Zigbee lights. The lights are bonded to the switch using group binding. I don’t think in the end it makes a big difference as the outcome sounds like it will still be the necessity to use two Smart Switches instead of an AUX or Numb switch in the 2nd position.
Sorry for the confusion. You don’t need to use two smart switches to get this to work. The Aux switch will work just fine. I’ll take a look at the diagrams tonight after the kids go to bed!
Thank you, Eric. I’ll keep my existing GE Aux switch until I hear from you. I did purchase and then cancel an Inovelli branded Aux switch thinking it wasn’t going to work and subsequently purchased from you another Blue Series switch.
