I will try. If you had to “guess” where it is as I do, would you assume the potlight closest to the switch?
Anywhere between the switch and the first light. Look in out of the way areas like closets, etc. At least in the US NEC electrical code, the transformer has to be accessible since it has connections. Not sure about Canada.
Also, you should note that the dimmer that the Luminiz website specs for your lights is the TRP60. They advised me that the TRP60 is an ELV transformer. The Inovelli dimmer is NOT compatibile with ELV transformers.
It’s possible you have a different transformer I suppose. Just thought you should know this before you go tearing stuff up looking for your buried transformer. More than likely, you’re beating a dead horse.
Found it behind my furnace. It is the TRP60.
Ok, good. Unfortunately, that’s not compatible with an Inovelli dimmer.
Just getting back to this. I know it’s not an iNovelli question, but does anyone know of an ELV compatible smart dimmer that isn’t a Lutron (since it requires their proprietary bridge which I’d rather not also have to purchase)?
