Hey @Jamesonrw, the RGBW bulbs will retail at $29.97 on Amazon. You’ll be able to get them at $27.97 from inovelli.com
When will they be available ?
Do you know the minimum dimmable level for the bulbs? Also, will a custom Hubitat driver be required for full functionality?
It should be about 10 days. They are produced and on their way. I actually think they are going to be here tomorrow but I honestly can’t remember. Lots of shipments coming in and keeping track is easier said than done.
This is actually my favorite part of the bulbs. They will dim down to 1%. They actually will get very dim.
I’ll defer to @Eric_Inovelli for the hubitat info though. My quick answer is yes but I’m not 100% sure.
I’m part 2 of the french Canadian here
I startup a year ago with HA (using Home Asssistant) and have no smart devices beside my alarm system, PC and media players. I’ve read lot of reviews on different z-wave device from different manufacturers and choose on Inovelli for features and support, you guys are awesome on support (Found Inovelli post everywhere: Reddit, Amazon, Home Assistant, etc…). I’m also awaiting availability for Canadian. I’ve just created an account on Inovelli.com and cannot even enter a Canadian address in my profil. Will also follow up this forum for upcoming Canadian site. Keep up the good work.
A not furious Canadian bre(a)ed.
@Eric_Inovelli Will there be a Canada black friday deal on Amazon for the switches only? I’m looking at purchasing 10 switches (red series preferably), but can’t do so unless they’re on sale. I have the option to ship in the States if needed, and someone will bring them over in the new year.
I was waiting on Honeywell or GE switches to go on sale, when I found out about Inovelli via redflagdeals, and seems like you guys have a solid line and good communication, so was sold on the brand.
I have no use for RGB lights at the moment, and have a tight budget, hence waiting for BF to purchase.
Yes, they are working on updating their website to support those of us in Canada (collect sales tax, handle shipping, etc).
They have (no doubt frustratingly ) heard this several times now. The Black Friday deal is on the dimmer/RGB LED combo for US.
While I, too, am in Canada and would love a deal on dimmers alone, they are a brand new item for Inovelli that they literally just received.
Vast majority of Black Friday sales are not on brand new devices that have just been released, but older stock, as the companies, well, need to make money.
I have to think Inovelli has been in a tight spot with the unplanned forced manufacturer change as is and while they don’t want to disappoint, can realistically only do so much.
Thank you. Definitely not knocking them on this. I would be happy with a sale just on the black series for now. If not having the sale means they can get enough revenue to keep up the awesome innovation, I think I will buy a few to play with and wait it out for Prime Day or their next bigger sale.
I’m also happy with the price partity in Canada compared to USA - huge shoutout for that!
We’ve got some things planned for Canada for cyber Monday. Keep your eyes peeled.
Damn it I hate waiting!
I’m waiting from this announcement but what really get me out of my mind it’s the damn email I should have received this Monday regarding my annual bonus. I know it’s coming but I can’t waaaaaaaaait anymore.
May I buy 1 dimmer or 10 dimmer? Red or black?
So much questions… It depends of that deal and that bonus of mine (really it’s already spent… Getting married next spring in Mexico… Just don’t tell my wife to be I buy toys for myself… Oh that might be awkward wrongly quoted ishhh)
Did I miss this again? I didn’t see anything for Canada today…??
The on/off’s are on special on Amazon.ca
Ah thanks. I picked one up to check out the new switches… Mostly interested in the dimmers.
Curious if I buy one of these if there is an Inovelli office where I could pick it up today
I’ve got a day off and Kalamazoo is only 30min from my house
Am I seeing correctly that the price has dropped to 140? Was the Black Friday Price even a sale?
They did hint that there “might” be another deal during their 12-days-of-Christmas e-mails. My guess is that this is it.
Either price is a “sale.” The dimmers are normally $38.97 each and the bulbs are normally $29.97/ea. Before you saved about $60 by getting the bulbs for free with the 4-pack of dimmers at regular price. Now you save a few dollars more per dimmer ($34.97/ea) and still get the free bulbs, so it’s about $76 less instead of $60 less. Either way beats buying them separately…though I do have to say I still don’t regret buying them at the pre-order price.
Any love for the Canadians with the 12 days of Christmas? I really want some red dimmers
Getting close! Once the bulbs are certified in Canada, we will open up the kits for sale.
