Blue 2-1 Weird Dimming Speeds

I have my dimmer switches set to slowly dim up for about 5 seconds. So when I turn them on, it takes 5 seconds to go from 0% to 100%. Works great.

However, on some of my switches, I have them set to lower brightness. I have one switch that I often have set as low as 20%. If I have the bulb set to 20%, it takes 5 seconds to go from 0% to 20%. The switch should scale the time based on 100%… so it should only take 1 second to reach 20%, not the full 5 seconds.

The Red 2-1 scales the time like this. I was believing the latest firmware for the Blue switch had this changed but maybe it was never implemented.

Yes, my old house used Red switches, and I don’t remember having this issue.

The old Red switches used a constant time no matter how much percentage it was changing.

Only the new Red 2-1 varies the time based on the percentage it’s changing.

Supposedly, the Blue firmware was supposed to be updated to behave the same as the Red, but it didn’t make it in 2.15.

@Eric_Inovelli @EricM_Inovelli @mamber any update on if this is still planned for a future firmware update?
