I’ve recently noticed that the LED indicators on several of my LZW31-SN’s seem to no longer seem to animate smoothly when manually dimming up/down from the switch itself. More specifically, the brightness of the indicator LEDs seems to momentarily ‘jump’ back up to a higher level or briefly stop updating. I attempted to record a video of this, but it’s not really possible due to the fact PWM is used to drive these LEDs, so they always appear to flicker on video.
I initially thought this might be an issue introduced in a newer firmware version, but that doesn’t seem to be the case as not all devices on the latest firmware combo (1.55 / 1.44) exhibit the issue. Similarly, I haven’t been able to correlate this when any specific configuration of Z-Wave parameters or associations.
