LZW31 Red Series Dimmer Delay with 3-Way Add On Switch

I just installed a Red Series Dimmer (LZW31) last weekend in a 3-way configuration using neutrals with a GE aux/add-on switch. When I try to control the lights from the add-on switch there’s a delay of 1-2 seconds and sometimes the lights flicker bright for a few milliseconds.

I followed the instructions to ensure I enabled the aux/add-on configuration and double checked the settings.

Everything else is working fine but the delay when trying to turn on the lights is annoying. Any ideas?

You’ll need to modify the ramp rate of the switch. I’m not sure which hub you’re using, but within hubitat, the default is 3. I’ve changed most of mine from 3 to 1 or 0 depending on the room. It’ll turn on/off much quicker than default.
