I have 6 LZW31-SN Red Dimmers in my kitchen. Some are on 3/4-way with dumb switches others are single switch.
One of my LZW31-SN 3-way switch turns on quickly (by alexa, hubitat dashboard or paddle press) but turning off take 6-7 seconds by alexa or dashboard control.
I have another LZW31-SN that works instantly with all 3 controls.
Hey @aolexy – this may be due to an issue with our older firmware where in some cases, in a 3-Way scenario, the switch will shut off. This can be fixed by either upgrading the firmware to the latest (I’m not sure which version you have) or by setting the max dim value to 80-85%.
Can you let me know if the above fixes the shut-off issue?
Ah crap, I misread this. I thought you said it turns off automatically. My fault.
Question for you – when you physically turn the switch off, does Hubitat reflect the status instantly or is it slow like when you do it remotely via Alexa or Hubitat dashboard?
Try changing your ramp rate to “0” Parameters 3 & 4. I had a similar issue where it would take Alexa forever to turn off a light. I had these parameters set to default of 101. Once I changed them to “0”, no more issues. Not sure if this will solve your problem, but it solved mine. Good Luck.
Maybe compare your parameter values with the one switch that works instantly.
