I received my 10 pack of reds this week and took the time this weekend to swap out everything so I can start playing with all the cool notification lights and stuff. An array of various old switched were swapped out, one with a 49cent tag still on it. But the oldest was a backstabbed unit connected to some old knob and tube wiring that somehow was never replaced which I had to break because the releases were seized up. It got it’s revenge on me though, I must have nicked the insulation on the hot wire without realizing it and a pop and spark later I had nine reds and one dead. But the others are working fine, integrated perfectly with everything else and giving me tons of new entities and configuration bits to play around with.
