Will the built-in hubs have any low-power wireless radios, as the standalone hubs do? What about Thread?

SmartThings Hubs will not act as a Matter bridge, so non-Matter devices will not be bridged or exposed to other Matter controllers.
UGH! This right here proves why Matter will end up being a failure, just like every other attempt to make an “open” standard. The manufacturers are still trying to bank on ecosystem lock-in to sell their devices.
