2-1 Switch Shipping Discussion

Been searching for this email every day since these landed in NJ and no luck still either. Such a bummer, I have big plans for these things

Did this happen? I donā€™t have a status update email or PM that I can seeā€¦

I had two small separate orders, only 3 switches per order.
Each order was placed on 05/16/2022 (order #185xx), and 05/21/2022 (order #186xx).

Like most people here, Iā€™m still watching my email for any updates on my orders.

Two separate late June orders of 10 packs. No shipment yet :frowning:

This is the week that Iā€™ll be getting my shipping notification. I know that for sure because next week is the week that Iā€™ll start getting upset and thatā€™s surely not going to happen.

I have 3 switches on order. 1 from April. They all still show unfullfilled. I hope I can get them before November.

Do you have an update on how many orders are left? As they had 400 left on the 20th with 100 packed per day I would presume all should be shipped by Wednesday this week 10/26? Thanks for your help!
Mine is somewhere in those left over which I understand as there is no many orders.

One more datapoint: preordered May 20th, order #36xxx, one 10 pack, one single switch. Havenā€™t seen an email, Inovelli website says unfulfilled.

I am sure @Eric_Inovelli is pulling his hair out over this. Still waiting and hopefully see something very soon on this one. Really hoping that this week is the week we get shipments as this was my worst case scenario for install week and we are not quite there.

Still excited, but a little discouragedā€¦should improve as the install happens and I get all the automation flowing.

Still waiting for my August order of 4 switches and a bypassā€¦

@Eric_Inovelli - Will mine take a lot longer because of the addition of the bypass on my order? Stated differently, do they have a supply of that product as well to fulfill my full order?

Jumping in for Courtney as sheā€™s actually now the one working with them to get this wrapped up. Not part of the contract, but sheā€™s taking it into her own hands to fix this disaster.

Looks like thereā€™s still around 400 left today so I would anticipate at 100 per day, yes, this should be finished this week. Canadian orders are shipping to Aartech today (also very upset about that situation, but that is not Aartechā€™s fault, please do not take it out on them ā€“ the B2C orders were never shipped to them).

I realize I canā€™t change how this was handled, but what I can change is how itā€™s handled moving forward. I have been working with the new owner of ZWP (I know you may not think so, but heā€™s just as upset at how this was handled and has seen the backlash) and he offered up a solution to consolidate everything to Michigan to use our employees (well, mostly Courtney ā€“ and hiring of new ZWP ones) to handle fulfillment for both companies. I know weā€™re still in a bit of a, ā€œwhy did this go so bad?ā€ type mode right now as weā€™re still in the midst of everything, but I view this move as what a partnership should look like. I think it takes a bit of humbleness to admit that maybe your current team isnā€™t working out and when a partner you want to work with comes to you with a severe problem, you take the steps to rectify it moving forward.

Again, I know this doesnā€™t necessarily help the current situation, but I do believe it will help both companies moving forward. Us in that we now will have control back and still benefit from the logistics experience and B2B clout the owner brings to the table and them in that we can help grow their business with our brand name and provide best practice fulfillment practices bc Courtney has been a rockstar.

For those interested, hereā€™s the new address:

Milham Tech Center
524 E Milham Ave
Portage, MI 49002

Iā€™ll snap some pics as we move in.

It shouldnā€™t ā€“ I talked to them about bypass orders and they said they have enough on hand.

This doesnt make any sense for someone to package up orders out of order.
Are they going to have enough units to supply that guy that ordered in April if they randomly filled a bunch of July and august orders first?

Itā€™s frustrating to know I spent money and have been waiting since May to find out a guy that ordered in July already got his shipping confirmation. (This isnt a what ifā€¦ you can look in this very thread and see it.) So do i just keep waiting? Am i in the next batch whenever that is? How long is my money sitting in limbo before I actually see product?

Growing pains are real. Thanks for keeping on top of this. We know you guys have done everything you can to move things along. Looking forward to the fan switches!!

Same boat, April and June orders here. ZWP messed up good here. Eric has said they have more than enough product at ZWP to fulfill all the orders. ZWP just made it a major headache for all of us and Inovelli.

Same here man, day 1 for me, but itā€™s not something Inovelli can change and per earlier in the thread ZWP should be caught up this week. Iā€™m psyched to get them, but trust me I feel you  Not at risk of not getting the order shipped, just a headache all around from the way ZWP organized the orders.

Well thats comforting to know that they have enough stock. I guess I was under the impression that they might not be able to fill all orders. Ill wait a few more days and see how it goes.
Thanks.

Long time lurker, first time poster.

I want to add on to many who have posted their words of support and thanks to Eric, Courtney, and the other members of the Inovelli team. This type of transparency and honesty is truly unprecedented these days. The situation stinks (Iā€™m in the same boat as everyone else); Eric knows it stinks and instead of dodging or deflecting, heā€™s dutifully providing all the information he can as he tries to fix it. The information hasnā€™t always been perfect, but information never is perfect in the moment (ā€œfog of warā€).

Itā€™s this exact thread that makes me appreciate Inovelli, and will make me a customer going forward. After all, itā€™s not how you treat people when everything is going well, rather how you treat them when things are going poorly.

Eric and team: keep your chins up and know that weā€™re all just a little frustrated with the situation and not with you. This will pass. We know that it will be a valuable learning experience for the company. I think I am like most of the folks on here in that weā€™re truly pulling for you and eager to see you be successful.

Looking forward to having my blues (and whites) soon!

Thanks again!

I ordered a bunch of really cool smart home stuff this spring. My inovelli order is the only purchase I still have hope of actually receiving. LIFX downlight: nope. Home assistant yellow: good luck finding a cm4. Flic twist: maybe next year. Want a long lightstrip? you get the extensions, they refund the controller X(. Looking forward to that blue series tracking number.

Okay but seriously, still waiting for the 24 switches (20x 2-1, 4x aux) I bought in May.

Also, yeah, I knowā€¦ first world problems.
