All three of my orders shipped (yay) last week; two of the three are being shipped together and the last one is being shipped on its own. The bundled shipment’s label was printed Tuesday afternoon last week (25th), finally moved Thursday night, and as of Friday (28th) morning, just 9 hours after they were finally picked up, the status has been “Due to operating conditions, your package may be delayed.” hopefully it’s a mistake and the box is actually moving, but so far, no other updates…
The second shipment seems to actually be moving though and at this rate will get here first, so I have that going for me, which is nice…I guess lol.
Hi @Eric_Inovelli and team,
Any update on the colored paddles (black)?
I see the ability to choose the 2-1 paddle and Aux switch paddles, but they’re not available yet/sold out. Also, any ability to buy larger quantities than 1 at $5.00 each? (Maybe 10 or 20 packs on paddles) I know the colored paddles as a stand-alone item have killed your P&L in the past, but $5.00 * 60 black switches in the house + a few gray… That’s a lot of dollars for injection molded plastic pieces that the tooling is probably the same as default white…
You should take a closer look at the picture of the paddles. You are actually getting 5, but probably only 2 usable with the Blue 2-1. So, worst case you need half the count. You would also have a large number of Aux switch paddles too. And some for “future switch versions” Just for comparison a single-gang Lutron Screwless switch plate cover is $5 (probably can get a bulk discount).
I’m also waiting for Paddles, and was told they are in review from the manufacturer for quality and Lutron color match. Should be available in December.
Sorry if this was confusing – but just to be clear, you’re only getting one paddle when you order. The way our Shopify store works is that I couldn’t show just the individual product paddle when you click on “2-1” and “light almond” but rather I can only change one variable.
In other words, the first picture is the only one that is dynamic based on what you click:
The above is what is shown when you click on Fan/Light (and any of the color options)
The pictures below those show the various color options.
Yes, they have done a great job with color matching on all colors except Light Almond, Almond, and Ivory which happen to be the #2, #3 & #4 most requested
I’m hoping to get these with our next batch of 2-1’s.
Canadian orders will now be shipping from NJ as I mentioned above.
YES, you will have to pay duties/taxes/fees like you normally would if you ordered from our website. Sorry for the confusion as I know Eric said earlier in the thread that you would not have to. That was when we were going to send them to Aartech, but after talking to our customs broker it would cost more time and money doing it that way. As far as the duties/taxes/fees…you are not charged these at checkout so you will have to pay them upon acceptance. We will use USPS so there will be minimal charges as far as fees go.
The only exception is if you ordered from our new Shopify website - I believe it collects all that at check out now so you should not have to pay anything since you pre-paid at check-out.
We do apologize for the delay, but as with the US orders, we cannot do much right now. We have batched all the orders and ZWP has access to them, however it seems the head of their team is out with COVID so we have not gotten much response from them. We are hoping they will be able to start working on them soon as they are completely done with US orders. Once we hear any sort of update from them I will let you know. We feel terrible with how this entire process has gone and we can assure you, your orders are coming!
I hate being a squeaky wheel as I know the pressure that Inovelli are under for this project. I got a shipping label created email on 10/26 and nothing have been updated on the tracking # for UPS since. Still waiting on any update for my April 25th order of 2x 10pk blue and 5 Aux switches. Hopefully they just show up, or that they go out this Friday in the last bulk pick up of pre-orders from the shipper.
